After a ten day hiatus with my gf, I am finally back in Dallas. Left for Tampa on 6/24 and competed in the Tampa dancesport with my instructor (Michelle Hafle). Dusty and Hannah were competing with Sergey also. Did well in the solos but I need to work on my scholarship and my dancing more. I haven't really been dancing well in Ohio and Tampa but think it's going to get better. I agree with Felicia tho on the pro compeition, Sergey and Michelle should have definitely made it if they picked 4 out of the top 6 that we saw. But I guess politics is politics and you have to do the coaching rounds. Felicia and I stayed an extra few days in Tampa and headed to Orlando. We ate at Red Mesa, Shopped at the huge Florida mall, visited my cousin Cathy and her family and we went to Orlando to visit Disney World and the Epcot center parks. Disney was good. Epcot was good up until the China part, everythign after was repetitive, no rides and just more video and shopping. The front of epcot was pretty good though. We left on Wednesday 6/29 for NYC and my hometown Brooklyn!. Stayed with my parents in Brooklyn where she got to meet my parents and in New Jersey at my sister's place where she met my sister's family and my brother's family. It was fun seeing my nieces and nephew again and waiting to see my new niece when my sister gives birth in August or September. Felicia went on a little shopping frenzy at Century 21 outlet at the Bergen Outlet Mall. Prices were super cheap and no taxes. Showed her the main chinatown (she thought flushing was the main one) and went to the Met, Times Square and met her sister and her sister's boyfriend. Shopped at Soho, and Greenwich village. She also met up with one of her childhood friends in chinatown and we had lunch. But we got into a lil mis-communication at my sister's place and we ended up arguing over trivial things. Fixed it real quick. :) Somewhere during that week I started getting a lower back shoulder pain on my right side and it progressed moving to my right rib cage and right front side. No symptoms. I thought I pulled a muscle, it turned out to be me just over working my body and a case of shingles. I saw Felicia's uncle (who is a doctor) and he's prescribed some heavy dose presciption. I feel a lot better now but it'll take 2 weeks of nursing to make it go away and not spread. Means I have to sleep 8 hours and rest my body and not push as hard. Bummer.;p

104 degrees today in Texas...and the wind here feels weird also. Just finished watching X-Men First Class. It was ok, but none of the X-Men movies have lived up to the comic book & the continuity and character timelines & history doesn't really fit well with diehard X-Men fans. I'd skip this one too if you are an X-Men true fan. other than that working on my solos for my competition next week and then relaxing for a few days in Tampa and NYC! Can't wait to be home again.

Extremely hot in Texas this week 90's to about 102! It made sword cutting and Hung Gar practice difficult outside but I managed through it. Tomorrow's event with my business partner on the Hung Shing, T.S. meet & greet with our customers is also going to be a scorcher out in Ricky's backyard. I saw Super 8 with Paul today , it was an average movie...plotline was decent but kind of slow to start. Thor was entertaining but stuck true to Marvel's formula. I Still need to see X-Men First Class. In the past couple of months between Paul and my gf Felciia, I've seen Fast Five which was better than its predecessors. Battle L.A. was a good action-packed film similar to ID4. Hangover Part II was funny but disurbing, I still recommend it. Pirates of the Carribean didn't seem as interesting as the original, but I would skip it, looks like the franchise is just repeating the same old formula. Priest was so-so. RIO was a funny kid's flick. Rest of the day, I spent with Felicia looking ;P ... Tonight, I'm working on the remaining of the webisode script for Ten Brothers (working title). Got to find out where 'dirdave' is, (E-mail me dai-lo).

Really exhausted from practicing my open and closed routines, my lesson with Michelle and 3 hours of dancing afterwards on Thursday in Arcadiy & Natalija's class. The Tampa competition is 2 weeks away! At 7 a.m. I'll be up and by 8 I'll start practicing cutting and then martial arts and the gym. Ricky and I are still running promos for our Hung Shing, T.S. blade team, (www.meetup.com/hsts-bladeteam). It's a slow process on that end, but the sales side on eBay and our online site (hsts.weebly.com) has been steadily growing. At work, we just fixed the EMC for the Stars and loaded VMWare's VDI platform among a myriad of other projects. Tomorrow I'll catch Super 8 with my friend Paul and I'm finishing up the first Webisode treatment for my NF&P film/tv/webtv project. I still have a lot to do tonight/this morning with this website and also putting together videos, my artwork and my dad's artwork for sale. I need an assistant. Lol. I have to also spend time with my Bb (Felicia) & plan out our vacation after I finish competing in Tampa for our visit there and in NY!
