Nextedge Films & Productions (dba) is an independent, media & creative content, production studio looking to develop, create, and bring to you, stories in film, tv, app streaming and other viewable formats whether they are shorts, episodic tv and/or full feature films, etc. based in the Dallas, TX metropolitan area.

Currently we are working on our six-episodic limited series: The Rogues' Gallery and developing several idea scripts with different and diverse background characters, roles and stories. After making the first two 'spec' episodes during the chaotic 2020 and 2021 years and getting a warm reception and feedback during our private viewing at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema on December 11, 2021, we decided to push for a funding campaign and produce an even higher quality of the remaining four (4) episodes in the limited series if we meet our Tier 1 goals. If we meet beyond that, the possibility and production opportunities and enhances will be even greater.

Erwin Chung is passionate about art, especially film and tv storytelling. As the founder of Nextedge Films & Productions, dba., (NEFP) his drive and passion applies to all forms of stories, fiction, non-fiction, folklore, tall tales, poems in the form of short, full-feature films to episodic limited tv format stories. He created NEFP to produce and create various film projects and its virtual headquarters is based of the DFW area. Thus bringing content and professionals together as shown in the picture above of our most recent private screening project.

Born and raised in New York City, Erwin has established himself as an actor, writer, director, producer. Before the world was turned upside down by the pandemic situation, he usually spends time between Brooklyn, NY visiting his family in the Big Apple and his primary residence in Dallas, TX (since the early 2000's) as well as spending considerable time traveling to L.A., Atlanta, and visiting up and and along the coast like places in Carmel, CA. He also loves international travel and cruises ( a short list of his favorite destinations, Italy (Firenze, Amalfi Coast, Rome), Barcelona & Valencia in Spain, Beijing, Kunming & Shanghai in China, Hong Kong, Panama, Columbia, Many places in Mexico, St. Thomas, Belize, Puerto Rico, and many more.

His main passion is acting first and foremost, and he has been busy auditioning, booking and juggling auditions, bookings, ROFR requests and schedules.
